OP: Oh yeah definitely, I think he would have been a really good choice..however I don't like the fact that he gave up and suicided. That makes him extremely weak imo. Naruto/J-Man/& other hokages would never have done that.

My favorite character is Setsuna Uchiha, the hero of the Uchiha clan.

He took down many high skilled Senju members.

Setsuna stayed and fought. He severely wounded Hashirama and Tobirama, but he ended up dieing.

Sakumo was said to be greater than the Sannin, but it would have been the sannin in their 30s. What their level was at that age isn't known. Jiraiya and Orochimaru seemed to be in their primes in their 50s.

Funny how Sakumo's choice is still resonating in the current characters. The very act that caused him to be shunned and which led to his death certainly influenced young Obito, who in turn changed Kakashi. As a Sensei Kakashi passed on that ideal to his three students and Naruto took it to heart and has been busy spreading the concept around ever since.
