This filler arc is terrible

The reason is the character development of Indra is absolutely terrible and Hagaromo is absolutely useless as a father. I mean it starts out strong with Indra and Ashura being close and Indra being close and protective of his little brother. The thing is out of no where as soon as black zetsu almost kills Ashura and Indra unlocks his sharingan he becomes a **** out of nowhere. He all of a sudden becomes closed off from others and harsh whenever he deals with them. There was no great tragedy or reason to be jealous for this to happen it just comes out of nowhere. No explanation is given except I guess awakening the sharingan made him go crazy but I thought it took at least awakening the mangekyou sharingan to cause that. If he should have had anger at anyone it should have been black zetsu who nearly killed his brother but he simply continues to hang out with black zetsu instead. While this is happening Hagaromo simply sits by and does nothing as he watches his son descend into darkness and instead of confronting him about it and trying to help him work through it he simply does nothing. How and I supposed to like that.

But yeah Indras development is horrible. He didnt see shit with Sharingan and didnt go through anything to make him that way definatively. There may have been a spark but nothing was shown to ignite the flame.

Yes, indra's personality is just bad writing. Yes, some people do just get angrier/more agressive as they mature, but there is normally some reason. And indra has none.

Hagoromo I understand though. Yes, he has taken almost zero action against indra downspiral, but his mother was kaguya.
She tried to control everything hago and hamu did with violence. Hago is probably scared of becoming like her, so he is letting his children live as they want, even when he should intervene

This filler arc is great. The last time we had a bad filler arc was Tsunade's dream arc.

I feel like SP either makes a long filler arc and makes a good story for Indra and people complain about not returning to canon, or they make a short story of Indra and rush it and people complain about it not making sense. It's really a lose-lose situation for SP.

I honestly don't have any real issues with these filler episodes. They add more to indra and ashura and tbh, some of you guys were demanding a filler arc about something relevant and most specifically, ashura and indra.

I can't count the comments with people ranting at SP doing pointless fillers and all when they could make fillers on stuff that matters (again, ashura and indra) and when they finally give it to you spoiled little brats, what do you do? You still complain... Make up your damn mind, take a chill pill and just let it go. It's just a ****ing anime, not life.
