Doesn't this happen in dbz? Kishi's inspiration for this manga?
Goku is down for a while, vegeta or whoever get a powerup or something and fights off the villain for a while. Then a restored goku comes in (naruto) and defeats the villian.
I have a feeling thats exactly what's going to happen, the moment sasuke is down from this fight(the stab won't kill him, he just got a jutsu from hashi) Naruto will show up and defeat him. No ninja alliance this time. Just naruto.
