At best, he would have tired her out seeing has she has no answers/defenses of her own then finished her off.

I agree with you bro. Shinki is superior. Dude didn't move one muscle and he's GOAT. But Sarada's defeat was badly written nevertheless. Sarada never rushes an opponent and it was her idea to team up with Boruto. So why charge at someone who's vastly superior to you? She obviously knew he was stronger than them.

There were other things to complain about but you're right. I was expecting Sarada to use CES to break free. Instead we got Borat doing what he did via his two strongest KKG Ass pull release and MC plot armour release
