No, actually, you're missing the point I tried to make. The very fact for it not to be a fight was that Naruto was not fighting back. Was Naruto outmatched? Absolutely. Would he have lost if he fought? No doubt about it. Was it a victory for Sasuke? Yep.

But was it a fight?

No. Not with Naruto. Not unless you want to be really technical about it. Against Madara in your hypothetical example, Naruto would have tried to react. Becase he didn't, that makes it something other than a fight. The point I'm trying to make though...had Sasuke drawn his blade to its fullest and just stabbed and killed Naruto and walked away, would that have been a fight for you? I am not "switching arguments". Hell, some of the ones you listed I haven't even made. I am adding to one overarching point, that being the idea that Sasuke took his use of the Outer Path from somewhere, that being Madara's use of it. You're right regarding the black rods, I can admit that much, but this has really gotten off track. So, we agree that Sasuke can learn through knowledge of the paths and that he knows what the Gedo Mazo is, but the main disagreement is wether he learned how to use the Outer Path on his own or if he got the prior knowledge from other sources, correct?
