So you believe in Satan, yet you don't believe in God/Jesus? You do realize Satan was a Holy Angel and then later on became a devil because he became jealous and wanted a superior level of him. You can't believe in Satan and not believe in God. You sound like an idiot that way. Either become Athiest/Agnostic or nothing at all. I dont really know about Satanism, but if this how they believe then they truly are... Well, I wont say anything, since there may be people here who worship that kind of stuff.

im atheist... I can say that freely because its the internet and people on the internet are not that judgmental lol... I don't know much about Satanism but I do know that people often change the truth to make themselves look better... its possible they took out the part about god because it would slander satans name to learn about his defeat... or it could be someone who doesn't know what they are talking about and are only in to the religion because of family or friends

The term "Satan" isn't really a name but a title which translates as "the opposer". The word predates christianity and occurs in other religions too.

Also, Satanists don't worship Satan from the bible.

Let me give you an example.

The Yazidi sect in parts of Iraq and Syria worship a being called Melek Taus.

The reason for the Yazidis' reputation of being devil worshipers is connected to the other name of Melek Taus, Shaytan, the same name the Koran has for Satan.

Hence, they are regarded as devil worshippers. However, in the Yazidi faith, Melek Taus was a chief angel sent by god to earth. He isn't regarded as "evil" because he was sent by god himself and he also rose in favor with god.

Similarly, Satanists don't worship Satan from the Bible and most of them reject the entire creation story and other aspects of the Bible. There are different types of Satanists and some can be regarded as atheists. Some worship a being which they refer to as Satan (other names are also used) and others believe that Satan is just a force of nature and that they are their own God.

Because "Satan" is a title and not an actual name, it was used in the past to represent your enemies. "Satan" means "the opposer" and hence your enemies could be called "Satan". Anyone who opposes you could be given the title "Satan".

The original Hebrew term satan is a noun from a verb meaning primarily "to obstruct, oppose", as it is found in Numbers 22:22, 1 Samuel 29:4, Psalms 109:6.[6] Ha-Satan is traditionally translated as "the accuser" or "the adversary". The definite article ha- (English: "the") is used to show that this is a title bestowed on a being, versus the name of a being. Thus, this being would be referred to as "the satan".

Satanists regard Satan in a positive light and not as the "evil" being in the bible.

A little research can actually reveal a lot.

OT: You shouldn't concern yourself too much with the beliefs of others. Just live your life the way you want, believe whatever you want and leave other people alone. I really couldn't care if you worshipped your dog as long as you don't try to force your beliefs on me. Similarly, I never understand why people see the need to question the beliefs of other people (as strange as they may sometimes seem), especially when it has no impact on your life.

If you believe in God (Jesus Christ), you surely should believe in Satan (Lucifer).

Though I am Christian and believe in God I also have my own opinion on some things and if someone does not agree with my religious beliefs I won't force my beliefs down their throat and will listen to what they have to say I feel that it's not my place to Jude others beliefs it's natural to have your own way of looking at things.
