In fact, a lot of aspects of this manga is pretty much religious.. I don't know about buddhist texts, but this chapter had a lot of similarities with the bible.

woman(Eve) Eating from the fruit of the god tree(tree of life) and granted immense power(Incredible knowledge)?

New Power(knowledge) evidently led the world into more chaos(sin) instead of salvation(virtue)?

Kaguya(Eve) Had one son(cane) who also had two sons? As far as i know, cane didn't have any kids, leading me to belive elder and younger son are meant to represent Abel and Seth.

A lot of this was just a spin off from the bible... I don't know buddhist text, but i'm sure it's possibly plucked from their also. What i'm getting at is that, anyone who knows the bible or buddhist scripts could probably predict madara's trump Card and the end of this war... It's most likely going to be a spin off from some religious text.

For that matter 'god tree' seems to be a little too convinient. I'm sensing that Kishi has another Diety in mind to reveal to us. That's not out of the realm of possibilities when you take into account the fact that no one saw that 'Sage's mom eating fruit' thing coming a mile away. Infact, now we know how Rikudo got his power, but the new question I'm left with is... Where the hell did a random divine Tree come from? There has to be some other force higher up in the hierarchy. In fact, Madara's trump card may even be dealing with that diety. Madara's probably going to somehow use the same method that diety used to create the god tree, to create a new fruit...

I'm just... wow. I didn't expect such an interesting chapter.

That would be incredibly cheesy hahahahaha. I hope that's not what's going on though. I think more now that it has something to do with Madara needing Sage mode. HAshirama's Mokuton is essentially the tree, and with sage mode you draw on the power of nature. I'm thinking madara Wants to use a combination of mokuton, Sage mode and Rinnegan(creation of all things or another tech) to either bring forth a new tree, or force out a new fruit so that he can attain new power to take down Obito, or possibly even revive himself before obito is able to activate Infinite Tsukuyomi before madara can.

Anything can happen right now.. It's all a toss up, but I'm sure kishi is going to pull out scriptures from revelations in a few chapters...

I'm already banking On Shinju being the beast.
