What I like most about this chapter is how Naruto and Sasuke clearly haven't reached their limits yet and are still so powerful. Perfect Susano'o is less than half it's size at the moment, Naruto has yet to fuse Yin and Yang Kurama..

Today was a good day.

Naruto is the man this chapter. He planned the opening and got his friends involved. Kakashi's monologue fit perfectly into what Naruto was doing.

It really wasn't if you think about it. The Juubi Jinchuuriki being beaten by the power of friendship is the biggest piece of bs I've ever seen in my life.

It's not about the "power" its about how you use it and Obito ain't too impressive considering he's a god. Naruto, Sasuke and K11 are using the Kusaano to its fullest capacity and not only that but they're doing it in style. Dem cloaks..

You can say it's that cliche, but it's really not. If you simplify anything that much then it's going to sound bad but Obito was physically beaten by a Perfect Susanoo Jinchuriki. Naruto needed people who can mentally link with and trust to focus on creating the opening and at the last second Obito's resolve was too weak and his weapons were not strong enough. If you want to just call it the 'friendship cliche' then that's down to you.

If Obito is now defeated then I am okay with that. It was a fair and epic enough ending as any villain deserves. I also loved how they didn't even make Obito a good guy, he faltered in regret. He had a moments thought as to how his life could've been different in an alternate world and as we know, this is all Obito wanted all along. Good to see Kishi kept Obito perfect until the very end. Nice one Kishimoto, this makes up for the last 5 chapters of nothing. Good ending.

Even so, I wanted something to happen like some more alliance members being killed. I felt no tension whatsoever.

this was terrible. by this retarded ass logic VOTE madara solos juubito neg diff. they literally copied what he did and just added some rasengans wtf? this was by far the biggest ass pull of the manga and its just terrible. best part of the chapter was obito imagining how it would have gone if he had gone back to konoha

Of course. There's a 100 problems with this war, Might Guy, the Kage, the Hokage, Kakashi and Killer Bee should all be dead now in my opinion. But it's unrelated, this chapter alone IMO was very well executed. And especially as it would'be been so easy to mess up.

that sword is his strongest power. it created the world and was the sages strongest weapon so idk what your talking about. it was a crappy chapter and i think kishi is running out of ideas for the manga and realized he dragged it on to long. i mean really the ultimate weapon getting beaten by a susanno sword? a sword that didnt even have a TBB attached to it like madaras which would have made it stronger? i didnt like this chapter at all and thats just my opinion. if you enjoyed it then good for you I'm glad you got to enjoy another chapter of what im assuming is your favorite manga but this was crap for me and i was really excited for it to come out too

Ha, I doubt Kishi would make a super stronger character and not have a way to kill him off. I'm sorry you feel this way about the chapter. Maybe when the next chapter comes out and all things are explained you would feel better about this one.

What I mean is that the sages feelings are embedded inside the sword. Once the sword realized the malice intent, it could have cancelled out it's power.

I thought it was awesome. Honestly I don't know how many more times I could deal with seeing Obito scurring his way out of another combo attack, especially this one. This was has to be one of the best ways to go out for a villain. His curtain time is currently coming to an end and a switch up is coming. I think now it's time to see what Madara's trump card really is, To see if the Tree blossoms, and/or to see what Sasuke's and Orochimaru's intentions really are. Those three things right there leave a lot more opportunities for more battles/deaths/suspense. I think people seem to forget that. U_U

Agreed, I think the reason Obito lost is because deep down he wanted to lose, those alternative flashbacks are an evidence of that.
