This chapter just answered susanoo + chakra arms VS Preta Path

In many Naruto/Uchiha VS Nagato threads, Nagato fans would claim that hitting him with a Kurama chakra avatar or susanoo would be absorbed by preta path since they are made of chakra. They claimed that even mere physical impact wouldn't work.


However, in this chapter, we saw that Kaguya, who can absorb chakra and ninjutsu, could not stop the blows of susanoo and chakra arms.

So, needless to say, chakra absorption does not mean physical impact from chakra avatars cannot harm the absorber. So Nagato, more likely than not, would not be able to absorb like, say, BM Naruto's Kurama avatar or Madara's PS if they'd stick to physical blows.

That's not a fair comparison, I think. A couple chapters ago she completely obliterated Sasuke's Perfect Susano'o. And this time she didn't. It's entirely possible she chose not to use Preta Path or is conserving her strength or something.

Yes she did, that is irrelevant to my thread.

Not saying she used Preta Path exactly, but she is utilizing chakra absorption very similar to preta path. (big techniques don't work on her)

Preta Path has shown to absorb both.

Also,the act of absorbing chakra shown by any character was always when the person had time to act

Nagato gripped up naruto in BM mode during the 2v2 between him naruto and bee
And the six paths absorbed chakra while in close contact or at a distance to which they could absorb it through his palms

With the sheer size of sasukes attack and the fact that it was stable meant it was unpractical for her to try and absorb it and not to mention the fact it was instantaneous

Wrong about what exactly? It in fact absorbs chakra, as shown throughout the series. Susanoo is a statue created by chakra. There isn't much more to decipher. It taking time doesn't change the outcome.
