This whole arc has been a letdown for me. Not because of the characters themselves, but (like kishi's work) it feels rushed. I was hoping to flush out more of the Quincy we met.
I mean these are the Shinigami rivals. I was hoping to get some more background into how they got their letters, why they fight, the rivalries amongst their ranks before they all bit it. You know, like we got with the espada.
The only highlight of this chapter was Aizen. Didn't lift a finger and cut off all that one dude's fingers with just his surpressed riatsu....
...ah can't wait until he hits the field.
