Despite how epic* I think it all is I feel it's all a bit annoying a bit like a cocktail but then adding in extra sugar then more lemon + orange juice then some cola and loads of other stuff.
Basically:
1. Madara - Super overpowered as it is but then having the Rinnegan and Edo Tensei effects. - Only way to beat him is to seal him
2. The Juubi... something that should be impossible to defeat but is going to have to be defeated for the story to continue.
3. The fodder + extra characters (From people like Darui to Rock Lee) - There's thousands of ninja doing nothing apart from acting at the same time... doing the same thing. Apart from people like Shikamaru who's making a strategy + Ino who's transmitting it everyone is pretty much useless. Sometimes it seems like one person makes a difference like the Earth guy who Shikamaru contacted to ask about the hand seals when there's thousands of other ninja doing the same thing. There's also things like Madara's fire vs the fodders fire which is 1 vs thousands but he's still superior.
4. Now there's the Hokages who all have Edo Tensei abilities which will most likely exceed Madara's as Orochimaru's Edo Tensei is probably significantly stronger than Kabuto's.
It's just a lot going on and a lot of people going to waste. Similar to if you ever played with action figures that you had a lot of you could only make 2 fight at once whilst the others stood around doing nothing.
I think I just kind of preferred it when it was like actual rules applied like if you were fatally injured you died, people weren't pretty much invincible and there wasn't thousands of people fighting. Basically how it was just before Madara arrived or other fights like Naruto vs Neji and Naruto vs Sasuke in part 1 and Naruto vs Pain. Where they were close but not being over done and everyone had limitations. Now it's just power-up after power-up for each side.
*I never use the word 'epic' to describe anything which kinda shows how amazing I think it currently is. Don't get me wrong I think the current story is really good I just don't particularly like how unbalanced everything is.
