This arc is....better!?

Now okay, I liked this weeks chapter. Went stupidly quickly and not much plot progression but it was fun! and I go back and read last chapters...and it was...fun.

As much as i'm not exactly warming to Maddy as final villain, Kishi's writing has just gotten more entertaining! More good comedy relief, better use of existing characters (from Taka to Team Guy to K11) and the plot is just actually happening! 'The Return of Madara' arc has just the tone and pace that the '10 Tails Revival' arc should've.

Flashbacks no longer hold back a story, they just are there when they actually help the story and there is no more pointless back and forth between the good guys and the the bad guy like Obito had. Until proven otherwise I still prefer Obito as the final threat but it really seems like Kishi has quit it with the manga filler and gone straight into action.

Has anyone else picked up on this improved pace to things lately? (also sidenote: what happened with naruto this chapter? I dont really get it)​

I see. The explosions were a bit....confusing. One of those things that'll be more fun in the anime.

And yeah the DBZ flying isn't great fun but Obito was doing it for a bit so i'm fine with it up until a point.
