Yeah, Hirudora's animation was freaking awful like they just wanted to do it as quickly and easily as possible. I'm pretty sure that was the last time Gai uses Hirudora too, unless he uses it one more time. Naruto vs. the Wood Dragon wasn't that great either, but other then that I would say the episode was fairly acceptable. It was more so about Kakashi and Obito.
