You should watch FMA, its much sadder then FMA brotherhood. Even the end of FMA was so sad OMG :T_T: Best Anime ever.

I liked brotherhood's ending better FMA's ending was too stretched out and I was sad cause the elric brothers were separated from everyone else.

watched FMA brotherhood,that anime is what i call perfection,story wise and animation,didn't really watch FMA the original,but i'm willing to do because of how much i loved brotherhood.

yeah i agree,the story was the greatest,no asspulls,no random power-ups,no power of love,hate,friendship,all seemed logical and well constructed because of the lovely rule of equivalent exchange.
each character is intresting in his own way and have a different personality instead of the repetitive sterotypes in naruto.
also for me i always thought a great female character is what makes the anime way better, and FMA sure have some of those,you've gotta love Olivier Mira Armostrong,one word to describe her Boss.
