Anime is not an accurate representation of the manga no matter how much you want it to be. Raikage didn't directly inpute anything into Mei, otherwise Mei would've been electrocuted herself. Thus she channeled Raiton through his chakra source, but wasn't using his direct raiton shroud as electricity (raiton can electrocute other raiton users as shown in the manga multiple times). She clearly wasn't.

Mei is channeling Raiton froms Ays chakra source??? Do you even know what you're talking about because I sure don't? Wasn't using his direct Raiton Shroud when clearly all the electricity is channeling from his whole body to his hand and into her Suiton??? I never even said he directly put Raiton in Mei so what are you even thinking with that point? The image clearly shows his shroud power channeling into her Suiton. Ay is doing the channeling with his hand while Mei is shooting the Suiton and the manga shows exactly that.

Overloading themith electricity ... Interesting ...

It's not as if a whole lot of electricity is needed to neutralize C4. They're literally microscopic bombs. If Sasuke's Katana that emitted a minuscule amount of electricity could neutralize Deidara's landmines, I see no reason why Raikage's armor can't neutralize C4 considering his body is clothed in Raiton.

It doesn't electrocute the bombs to set them off. Not sure what is so hard for you to grasp about this. You haven't even countered my point. When Raiton chakra touches the bombs, they are defused. What the hell are you going on about when you keep talking about it not being able to electrocute people? As if it was even relevant.

Like I told you. Eiso and Senbon work the same. They don't electrocute people, yet Senbon can defuse the bombs. So why in the world would C4 not be defused when it touches the Raiton Chakra? Eiso is a bad point to make because it proves my argument. It's not irrelevant in any way, shape or form.

I think what Apex is trying to say is that Onoki's Earth Release: Weighted Rock technique would have been defused by the Raiton chakra if it carried electric properties to defuse Doton based jutsu.

But then InvisibleMan gave the example of Raikage channeling his raiton along Mei's suiton to prove that it indeed carries electric properties so that counters his point.

Unless you are keeping some translations from me, all I'm seeing in the NF translation is that Raiton chakra gushes out from the inside of the body and forms an armor around it. Regardless, it doesn't work as an armor from the inside going from what you're telling me and if it is actually affecting the insides too, then there is no way that it is actually working as a source of electricity that can overload things with electricity, i.e. electrocute them.

Point still stands. From what I've seeing, only time Ay's armor's been working as something that can electrocute and overload things with electricity is when he willingly tried to do so against Madara through Mei's Suiton. Every other case, no one got electrocuted by his stuff.
