Third Raikage vs 100,000 White Zetsu

Well? If Old Man Third was still alive could he singlehandedly solo Obito's army of White Zetsu?

It was portrayed that a Zetsu has half the strength of a fodder (based on casualties) and it took 10, 000 fodder to take the 3rd down. 20, 000 Zetsus should be enough. Though if we where to assume that there where some legit Jonin level characters among the Fodder, I guess we could make it 40, 000 Zetsus for good measure. Either way, 3rd Raikage is not capable of taking out even half of these Zetsu.

Yeah, I mostly agree with this but
-a lot of those casualties were probably inflicted by kabutos edos
-you also have to account for the zetsus which transformed into shinobi and tricked their teammates into thinking they were allies, then killed them

I'd say raikage can take out about half, give or take

If a lot of casualties where from Kabuto's Edos, then imagine the amount of casualties on the Edo side by someone who is not a fodder (And there where a lot more non-fodders on the Alliance team then there where Edos on the opponents team). I think it all evens out in the end to 2 Zetsu for 1 Shunobi fodder.

Yes but do realize that the non-fodders in the alliance were probably the ones taking out most of the Zetsu. Like Kitsuchi or Choji can take out dozens/hundreds in one attack whereas fodders have to rely on brutal hand-to-hand combat. I say it's more like 1 fodder = 1 zetsu.

1) How does this do anything other then dig your own grave?
2) Like you said, Zetsus killed a lot of fodders via cheap tricks and Edos played their part as well. I think the casualties listed by Kishi was meant to portray the difference in strength between Zetsu and Fodder.

They were 10,000 shinobi from Iwagakure , I'm pretty sure they contain some Jonin, anbu , chunnin etc.. , they won't send Genin to fight a kage,10,000 shinobi would stomp at least , 40,000 Zetsu, as for this match, 3rd Raikage can take all of them, they can't do a scratch on him , 3rd Raikage can fight for 3 days, which is more than enough to solo the army, 1 swing from Jigokuzuki can kill tons of them, 3rd Raikage would need just to move his hand

Third Raikage loses only because of lasting against 100,000 Zetsus. Lower the numbers to about 30,000 or more, then he absolutely shits on them.

Sure he is fast and strong, but he doesn't have the feats for long ranged punches

I'm assuming that it can be done by merging, however do you find this canon in this battle?
