Like I ask in the title, don't come to any quick conclusions. Don't try and get the first post. Think about the answer to this question very seriously!

Think of it as if you are Masashi Kishimoto, not as you, but you as the writer, don't make the changes as if you would make them, make the changes as Kishimoto would make them, and do your best to think like him, as hard as that seems!

Please refrain from mocking this story in any way, if you do not respect these things, I suggest you leave, respectfully.

Also do not give one or two line answers, I am not asking you to write an essay.....just give us your best in depth explanation that you can, that is all.

So now..... onto the question at hand......

Lets say if the story had genuinely taken a completely different course, one that would involve many changes, regarding the future, the fate of many characters, and the story itself.

What would the impact, the repurcussions and those countless and various changes be, if the following scenario had not been a genjutsu?

Itachi would most likely go to Konoha and reveal everything he knew about Akatsuki, which would also result in Pain being brought down harder by the combined force of Sage Naruto and Itachi. Tsunade would never go into a coma, and might be able to heal Itachi's illness. Danzō would still be alive, and with Shisui's eye, could potentially mind-control Obito and Kabuto into behaving. Without Sasuke though, Naruto might not be inspired to master Kurama's chakra so quickly, which could have a negative impact.

Sasuke will dead and kabuto will revive him in the battle .Sure Itachi will kill the Deidara or Naruto or sakura or three of them together.Three of them will engulfed by hatred and they will turn against ninja world.

Yes, but Edo Sasuke (at the time he fought Deidara) is powerful, but certainly no substitute for Edo Itachi, as Sasuke hadn't gained the Mangekyō by that time.

Tsunade might be able to heal him after, and never go into a coma. The Kages would be fine, and with Itachi's information, and most importantly if he could extract Shisui's eye from Naruto to use in another way, the war could go over more smoothly. Especially if Danzō was still alive and he had his own eye from Shisui, but combined with Hashirama's DNA. Together, they could potentially just mind-control Obito and Kabuto into behaving.

But why would anyone believe Itachi? At this point, he is still a traitor and the most dangerous mass murdering criminal Konoha has ever seen!

On the other hand, Itachi returning to Konoha and showing his loyalty again would mean complete and utter disgrace for the Uchiha clan, would he really want that? Wouldnt he just take matters into his own hands?

I imagine Danzō would vouch for him to the Hokage.

I don't think his return would need to be made public. He's already shown the ability to infiltrate the village, so going face to face with Tsunade would be possible. Tsunade might smash first and ask questions later, but I'm sure Itachi could convince her, most likely after beating her and showing her mercy as initial evidence. At the very latest, Itachi would show up when Pain attacked. Then again, Obito might not even send Pain, because he didn't want Itachi going against him. Still though, without Sasuke, the village was Itachi's only concern, and Obito was rather concerning.

Best so far! You could be more in-depth with the story though.

Sasuke would get revived in a way or another, he's one of the key characters in the series.

You are thinking from a critics point of view, don't think characters, plot and series. Think as someone writing one of the greatest stories of all time.

That's the point

If you made this happen so early in Sasuke's char developement

It wouldn't be the greatest story of all time

So we are not supposed to think from Kishi's point of view?

Don't get defensive, you know what I mean, unless all you have is a vague idea of how plot and characters work, in which case there is no need to answer.
