You're really ignorant if you really believe this . As far as I am aware there was still trouble between the Senju and Uchiha clans , Madara , Tablets , Konoha or not . Madara leaved the village yet his clan got still attacked and slaughtered , he isnt the responsible so Hashirama could never , and indeed never found peace.

When hashi and madara cooperated together the village system started they were on there way to peace
But black zetsu needed someone to awaken the rinnegan and manipulated the tablet
Madara left the village because he thought that cooperation is a silent fight and became both Indra and ashura in one body and awoken the rinnegan just like bz wanted
And obito attacking konoha is what made the uchiha clan get slaughtered
