They may stalemate but i find Chidori to be superior to Rasengan

You do know that the chidori is practically a raiton style rasengan.

Chidori is imperfect shape manipulation + elemental manipulation

Rasengan is perfect shape manipulation.

A elemental rasengan is superior to the chidori .

A straight up resengan is superior to the chidori

Chiidori is a complete jutsu..

Rasengan is not..

They both have different properties..

Chidori peirces and its power is concetrated in one instance..

where as rasengan grinds at you and seems to give of a pulse sort of effect.. take the damange to the water tanks as an example.. its not that one is stronger or serperior to the other it just does different things..

bare in mind that rasengan itself is a jutsu that was still incomplete and was nothing but chakra manipulation

Chidori isn't complete the raikiri is the complete version of the chidori,its a version that creates more piercing power and less noise due to higher concentration of shape and nature manipulation.

Rasengan is greater and more powerful than chidori as stated by Jiraiya. I think Jiraiya's word ought to be enough on the Chidori vs Rasengan thing that has been going on for a millenia now.

As you can see the Rasengan is more powerful than Chidori .However they are stalemate because Chidori's ( good nature and shape manipulation) nature manipulation make up for the excess power of rasengan (max possible shape manipulation).
