lol that's the main reason I got this account a few days ago. Some people were confused by chapter 616 and I remembered it had been foreshadowed earlier, and wasn't some random idea Kishimoto added as an afterthought.

They are made from Naruto's chakra, so they are Naruto cloaks.
People on Narutobase will be confused no matter what.

To prove this lets break it up.
Is it a cloak (not the piece of clothing)? Yes
Is it made out of chakra? Yes
Is it made out of a Naruto? No
So it must be a chakra cloak.

The only thing that would change is Naruto wouldn't be able to use Mass-clones because his chakra wouldn't of mixed with the kyuubi's hence no Insane chakra levels.
No way would he of been Hokage befor Gaara, Unless learn't sage mode at like 13-14.
And maybe would of learn't rasengan at a earlier age.

Some people are just close minded and comfortable that way, and there are a lot of people like that on this forum. They're only here to discuss power levels, they couldn't care less about the story and it's countless meanings.
That's why you've got to pick the right topics and talk to those on the same level as you. I spent years moderating (it was a nightmare) at two other boards for famous animes and learned a lot from it.
So many trolls here today though so I haven't tried to add too much. lol

Bro you're insane if you think he wouldn't be stronger than he is now. Naruto already has huge chakra levels without the Kyuubi, with the 4th and Kushina as his teachers, Naruto would be on a whole another level, he had to struggle to become this strong up until now, with his parents there, it wouldn't have been one, he would have been a monster at a very early age.
@Bold: Didn't Kakashi tell Naruto that without restraining the Kyuubi with his chakra he would have better chakra reserves? And as far as I know Naruto has natural huge chakra reserves due to being Uzumaki, not because of the Kyuubi.
