So just browsing through the forums today, I've noticed alot of fans, still blindly being fans, and fanboying their favorite character. Naruto is holding back, if he wasn't, this fight would be over. I've even read post of people so delusional they actually believe that naruto is currently in BSM, and hes been nerfed to match sasuke STR. The list goes on, but I just wanted to take time out and point out some things for the uneducated, and the less comprehensive fans we have on the base.
I just wanted to cover a few points and discuss what I liked, and disliked about today's chapter, overall, truth be told I actually enjoyed it. But even in this first chapter there is still a lot of plot going on in both characters favor. At the start of the fight one can assume Sasuke used a basic Fire Ball Jutsu and not Amaterasu why is that? Amaterasu completely shits on any version of Katon one can produce. So why did sasuke use an empowered katon? It's simple, "He's holding back" this was made blatantly obvious from the start.
Now, its obvious to anybody with the slightest bit of intelligence if sasuke was to of used "Amaterasu" off back, naruto would of been done in, correct? now before you guys start shouting "horse shit" or "he can dodge Amaterasu", "Block it" w/e the case might be, lets put people theories into consideration here. "Theoretically" naruto should be capable of sensing Amaterasu, dodging it, or feinting it with a shadow clone correct? But, if you pay attention, naruto did not go into Rikudo Mode until he witnessed sasuke Katon. Thus, if sasuke would of used Amaterasu off back, its pretty safe to assume naruto would of been burned alive. Now anybody that is going to sit up and tell me that "Base Naruto" would of still sensed Amaterasu coming, activated Rikudo mode, and then still had time to react to it, don't even bother responding to this thread, keep the fanfiction somewhere else. Fact of the matter still stands, Naruto cannot sense Amaterasu without minimum SM activated, and even if he can dodge it, it wouldn't be dodged by anything less than BM I dare say BSM. Plot #1
Plot #2 I'd like to discuss was when Sasuke charged Naruto with his PS, and Naruto shot 3 Goudama's at him? where did they go? did they vanish? WTF? Sasuke or atleast his susanoo should of been completely obliterated by those balls? or am I wrong? Wasn't it stated that anything those balls touch just gets erased? although, Naruto did kick one with his foot... So i guess it makes sense, even a litte, but still, where the hell did they go? where they blocked? rendered ineffective? or just disappeared, even naruto was suprised to see Sasuke susanoo still charging full speed ahead.
Lastly, I was kind of disappointed to witness Naruto bijuu avatar the same size as Sasuke's PS? DF? honestly, I could of sworn sasuke V4 legged susanoo was the same height as Naruto Bijuu avatar? Lol
So what's the deal? since when does naruto Bijuu avatar get bigger depending on the amount of chakra one has? or is sasuke PS the same size as his V4 legged susanoo? which is it...., because we all know for a fact, Madara's PS dwarfs Full Kurama? so that was kinda silly if you ask me, maybe Kishi made it as big as sasuke PS so it would match it, that's the only explanation I can come up with.
Other than that, all in all I really enjoyed the chapter. I wanted to point out the fact that I was glad to see Sasuke ST>Kaguya Space time portal. So many people was stating how godly fast Naruto was because he was able to dodge it, and sasuke got caught. Trying to differentiate the speed feats of the two..... but this chapter proved that even though Naruto was able to sense Sasuke's ST, he's not fast enough to dodge it, he had to block it and got smacked. So Sasuke ST>Kaguya Space Time portal YEAHH BOY!
Pretty beast chapter though guys, what are your thoughts? I was impressed naruto could react to ST "honestly, didn't think he could" and I loved the PS Chidori to counter TBB.... that shit was hard, you have to admit. I feel that both characters are holding back because compared to what we know they can do, and the things they have yet to show us they can do we've seen....
