With technology advancing to the point of mass production of jutsu through dispensers and scrolls, I imagine it's going to be a VERY different world time passes.

The New Ninja tech doesn't require chakra to use and allows you to cast Jutsu at a whim.

While this doesn't seem like much this is a HUGE advantage for both old ninjas and new ninjas.

HOWEVER its the new ninjas that will benefit the most from this.

So, essentially now that ninja tech allows the casting of jutsu. An elite shinobi who relies on ninja only have to train their bodies and leave the jutsu to the technology.

What this means is that NEWER shinobi can focus all of their training to increases their physical prowess and not have to take time learning and molding chakra for jutsu


To put it simple. These newer shinobi will focus entirely on Gai or Lee type fighting styles and allow the ninja tech to allow them the ability to cast jutsu. Further more due to the no chakra required benefit of using ninja shinobi can fight much longer and devert ALL their chakra into fighting their opponents making them faster, stronger and more reactive

Imagine how powerful Gai or Lee would be if they actively used high level nin jutsu at the cost of no chakra?

I'm against the techs current concep, at the moment the Kote stores a scroll with single use jutsu. That limits the possibilities of the kote and the user.

They should'be made a scroll which stores the jutsu permanently(unless destroyed) and every time the user wants to use said jutsu it(scroll/kote) would draw the chakra from the users body. This way the user could effectively use the jutsu as many time as they liked.

This would definitely make it more interesting even novices would be using jutsu effectively threatening the ninja world. Who knows they may do it at a later date.

Agreed 100%. Technology surpassing or rivalling Ninjutsu is going to be a major theme of Boruto. I would go as far as saying Kara will use technology to get the upper hand against the Shinobi World, otherwise they won't stand a chance against Heavy weights like Sasuke and Naruto.

I'm against the tech it's pretty much 1 tech limited per scroll. What they should've done is the scrolls store the jutsu and each time the user wants to use a jutsu from kote the chakra is drawn from him by the device whether they have chakra co tell or not. It would defi item remove the restraints of 1 use it eouldbe mafe rhe story more interesting that's for sure.
