Theres something very interesting about Kakashi

That of all the ninja in NV, Kakashi is the only one who is truly, in every sense, a ninja. As in not only is he gifted, but he has no long term goals. Most ninja in Naruto have some sort of goal which when you analyze it, is sort of odd. Uma just name of few examples of what i mean.

Naruto - Many goals and dreams including being Hokage

Sasuke - Vengeance

Sakura - Sasukes love. Aspired to be an equal member of Team 7

Gai - Aspired to be a great shinobi even if he was talentless

Hashirama - Wanted to build a village

Madara - Same and wanted his clan to overthrow any one else

Asuma - Had love for Kurenai and had a kid

Itachi - Wanted war to end and fought to resolve differences between clans

Nagato - Wanted "ultimate" peace

Obito - Wanted "ultimate" peace

Kabuto - Spent a lifetime aspiring to be Orochimaru or at least find some identity

Orochimaru - Spent a lifetime trying to learn all jutsu




I can go on and on, but Kakashi had no goals at all besides completing the mission. That is so dope coming from a guy as talented and attractive as him.

To live and die as a ninja was his only creed. wow.

oh ok. even still, they got fancy weapons and formed a clan together. Kisame is another one of the few who is truly ninja but he still doesn't come close to Kakashi's selflessness.

No special clans (Anbu isn't special as other villages have their own versions of anbu)

Kakashi is a G. to me him and Gai are the best characters in Naruto by far

Itachi's case was situational, if Kakashi was put in same choice, he'd have a mission too. Same can be argued for Naruto and Sasuke.

Edit: There is also the fact that everyone was motivated by some event in their life, in Kakashi's case it was his father's death and Obito incident that shaped him the was he is.

kakashi could've went the obito route but chose to remain a selfless ninja. he's mentally stronger than most

Maybe he had one. He wanted to atone for his sin, the one he made when because of him Obito "died" and the same for Rin, he felt responsible and I'm sure his goal was to make team 7 the team he "dreamt" of, even if he failed... His motivation was to save his friends.

this whole "ninja don't make long-term goals" nonsense is as silly a myth as "ninja don't show emotions". You must not know a lot about real ninjas, otherwise you would have know that they have been known to make long-term goals.

All their cases were situational.. Lord Crow just made His traumatic situational experience His biggest strength which also enabled Him to surpass high standing shinobi at an early age before plot restricted His glory.

Kakashi is damn good but Lord Crow was most selfless working in the shadows to preserve the light in and outside of the village along with shinobi world
