Well that one guy was their most powerful leader and obviously reflects on the following clansmen. Decades later, you'd think they'd get over it but it doesnt change the fact the Uchiha clan finally succumbed into the ideals of Madara as they noticed that they were being kept in check and decided to plan a revolution.

They didn't bring it upon themselves. They were supposed to be EQUAL partners with Senju and they were basically told off and oppressed. The elder women was like "They want more influence" or something, proving that they clearly didn't want uchiha to have political power.

In sasuke's point of view, this is just more fuel to his hate.. Now he's seen just how much Itachi suffered.. far more than he thought... he cried his eyes out just killing his parents.. watched his best friend gauge out his eyes etc..

It seemed foreshadowed to me that Naruto was Sasuke's "last hope" in turning to Konoha's standpoint. Whether he is still mad or something sparks him to revive his anger, I think that he's not switching sides until he gets a crack at Naruto.

If he was doing undercover work like Itachi i don't think that everyone would want him dead, unless they are just acting but it is a good thought
