[Discussion] There's an error in the story about how Madara got the EMS

In the episode where Sasuke and Itachi were fighting, Itachi explains and shows that Madara got the ems by taking his brother Izuna eyes, thats also how Izuna died. But Later in the flashback between Hashirama & Tobirama vs Madara & Izuna, Izuna was killed by Tobirama.

that wasn't how izuna died, they never said that he died because of madara taking his eyes. he simply gave his eyes to madara, and was killed later on by tobirama

This isn't completely accurate. They said Madara stole Izuna's eyes when his own started to go blind. But I wouldn't call it a mistake as no one really knew the circumstances of that led to this.

Madara/ Hashi flashback cleared that up though. We found out it was Izuna's dying wish that he take his eyes.

OT: not so much an error as lack of info on the storytellers (Itachi's part)

i think izuna didnt die right away after he got stabbed by tobirama...he died at home suffering from the wounds...but shortly befor he died he gave/was forced to give his eyes to madara ..wich enabled madara to awaken ems

Like the others said, I think this was more Itachi twisting the story to fit the situation. He was trying to make Sasuke think he wanted EMS.

Its simple.. As it was clearly shown.. After Izuna was stabbed by Tobirama.. He didnt die instantly.. Madara took him home or somewhere for treatment.. There.. He took Izuna's eyes since he saw dat Izuna wouldnt survive d fatal blow by Tobirama.. No errors therer..

Izuna died hours after the fight , Madara took the dying Izuna and left the battlefield , Izuna knew he was going to die and gave his eyes to Madara.

Are you drunk? When did I say Izuna didn't have his eyes when he fought Tobirama? Izuna lost his eyes AFTER his last fight w/ Tobirama.
