Where the hell does Doffy think his going with this? Honestly I thought it was dumb enough that he opposed Fujitora so many times but now he's crossed the line. Pretty much all of his executives are defeated. He has the whole damn country after his head and this includes all of the strong coliseum fighters , the revolutionary army , mother effin zoro , an admiral and a luffy who is angry AF! Doffy should just undo the bird cage and run away. There's no way he's winning this.

a villain like him running away would just **** up all the things he stands for, don't you think so?
would be pretty lame if oda would throw all the development for him down the trash like that!

Well that'd be anti-climatic if he ran away in the middle of this chaos.

Considering he had a wild card that could bring them all back at full potential any day and week(Manshelly), his overconfidence wasn't that surprising in the end

Even by those standards Doffy should not be acting like this. The majority of fighters already proved to be stronger then his crew/family and he himself could be beaten by fuji , sabo , luffy or maybe even zoro for all we know

It seems like he doesn't consider anyone besides Fuji as a threat. He knew that Fuji won't get in his way any time soon so he's planning to take out Sabo,Luffy and Zoro. Then proceed to gang bang Fujiora after restoring his crew.

Over whelming courage and persistence is part of his character. Have you not been paying attention to any of the flashbacks?

He cursed his father and refused to shut his mouth when he was tied up and held captive. Him running away now wouldn't make any sense. Doflamingo does not fear anything. Not even losing.

And imagine if Luffy got scared and ran away during the Enies Lobby arc when the buster call was activated. He wouldn't be the Luffy we know now, now would he be?

I won't say that. He was really unlucky since the start. Viola betrayed him, otherwise they'd have even never got any info on his plans and could have cornered them suiftly. If not Bellamy(betraying him), Luffy could have never come out of the colloseum. Jorah one shotted half the crew. If not for her stupidity, it would have been in his favor. Luffy's also crew grew significantly stronger than expected and he also expected allies to turn down on Luffy by giving them the proposition of the bird cage game(another unexpected thing). But eventhen, he had someone like Pica as his subordinate whose ability is pretty hax in war periods, capable to handle multiple enemies at once. I even think that the only one who could have defeated him in Dressrosa were Fujitora, Sabo, Law, Luffy and Zoro.

With Sugar that can turn you to toy in one touch. Manshelly's ability to bring you back in perfect conditions at every turn and him himself as a powerhouse with hax moves like parasites and others, it wasn't that stupid imo. He was just unlucky. I'd say the real stupid thing he did however was when he decided to release Law when he could have killed him every time he wanted but hey he never saw Law as a threat to begin with. In his mind, the only threat in Dressrosa is Fujitora and it would end up being a fatal mistake i guess, a mistake any villain make

This. Sugar abilities have no cap, the minute she touches someone, it's over. No matter how strong you are. Doffy had the worst of luck as Bogard explains but he had many plans and backup plans but one by one, holes were formed in his schemes thanks to the SH's and their alliances they've made on the island.
