I wish to learn it because it is a way of life for cooking and heating. Katon is great for attacking and has been seen a couple times being used for defending. I also want to learn it so I can master the basic 5 and be well rounded when it come's to element's. Katon is strong against wind because of the properties of wind making fire grow stronger and more fierce. Katon is weak against suiton because you can always put a fire out with a nice amount of water this characteristic is proven in life.
Has been shown burning and combo'd with wind jutsu as well. Other notes are that uchiha and sarutobi clan's are very strong with Katon and there are kg which utilize fire ie lava and boil and I believe ice.

Rojuro grabs le paper from cass and goes and turns his back to cass I begin pulling out my matches to light the paper when cass turns and says do it properly. I begin channelling my chakra into the paper while thinking of a fierce and flowing uncontrollable force which feels hot. The paper then ignites and turns to Ash faster than it ignited.

Rojuro begins building up chakra in his mouth when I feel it seems enough I begin changing it to fierce fire while exhaling instead of spitting this time. This makes small balls of fire shoot out from my mouth in short bursts.

Pro's short range slightly aggressive attack my guess is you can shoot off three small fireballs.

we need some fighting music now where was I oh yes next jutsu. Well I feel around by my backside for my ninja pouch which is quite heavy about 8 lbs to be precise. I pull out 5 shuriken and begin to gather my Katon chakra up in my mouth.
I throw the shuriken and breath/ exhale my built up Katon surrounding the shuriken in flames which are now moving towards you watch out cass.

Rojuro begins by forming a couple handsigns Snake> Ram > Monkey> Tiger and by exhaling from my lungs flammable gas is exerted and I throw an explosive kunai tag and the gas lights up with the explosion of the the tag and gas making twice the explosive fire.

Pro's pretty good combo usage attack and would catch an enemy off guard if you had explosive tags setup on the battleground.

Con's not sure as to how long the gas stays in a surrounding area but in a cave this would be better suited or tunnel basically a enclosed room of sorts.

I then begin to exhale Katon from my mouth with my lips kinda in a small o shape as to keep the fire control I also control the chakra into a finely controlled stream which is consistent until it hits the ground.
