*sigh* From your point of view, if Itachi was that independant of Kabuto, how did he managed to vanish after Kabuto end his seals?Really? You didn't read the whole part with Shisui's crow?
When Itachi escape from Kabutos control, Edo Madara wasn't summoned at that time. He could have stop Itachi at that time and summon Madara laterThen Madara would go too...oh waaaait. Seriously though, Kabuto would lose his entire Army, and he doesn't know that Madara can escape.
*sigh*Itachi broke out of Kabuto´s control when he fought Naruto and bee. This means that Kabuto was no longer able to control him in any way. In short the contract between Edo Itachi and Kabuto was broken so Itachi was free to move out of his own free will. Just like Madara did, except Madara used release seals while Itachi used Katsusomething. Shisui´s gen tech.
*sigh* From your point of view, if Itachi was that independant of Kabuto, how did he managed to vanish after Kabuto end his seals?
He didn't released himself. Kabuto is the one who released him but under Itachi's control. Itachi is not the one who performed the seals, but Kabuto...He released himself. Why would he want to stick around?
We've seen that under Itachi's control, Kabuto was able to stop Edos by releasing the jutsu. Then why Kabuto didn't stopped Itachi earlier if he could have done it?
Ok i'll explain it again.Itachi put Kabuto under a genjutsu to know the seals to stop Edo tensei. Still under genjutsu he makes Kabuto perform these seals(it's kabuto the one who perform them). Just look:

And after that Itachi begin to vanish(like other Edos):You must be registered for see links
That means Kabuto could have stopped Itachi earlier just by performing the seals if he wanted. At least, it's what i understand about that
