1. Bald/Hooded guy will be quite durable tricking Sasuke and Naruto to pull out their most powerfull technique or the most chakra taxing attacks. This could lead to Naruto and Sasuke loosing advantage being winded/tired while having to face new villain who just would loose one eye. I am sure he has other hand filled with sharingan as well, maybe even chest and do not forget legs lol.
2. Naruto and Sasuke's skills degraded a bit or at least sharpness of their battle insticts so they may be caught off guard by Space Time Ninjutsu used by Bald Guy and Shin at the same time or working as duo
3. Bald/Hooded guy has special surprassing technique/poison which make both Naruto and Sasuke handicapped.
4. Naruto and Sasuke get outnumbered by All shin and mini Juubi attacking them of guard while they are focusing on fight with Bald Guy and protecting kids.
5. The Bald/Hooded guy is fruit of Orochimaru experiments. He may be combination of the strongest pieces/cells of the strongest shinobi ever. Maybe he even has combinated mind of most genius/intelligent characters.
6. Combination of few aboves. I guess it could be possible.
7. Naruto and Sauske let themselves be defeated setting trap to discover hideout of that Bald/Hooded guy or trying to find out more information of possible "bigger threat then Kaguya" by allowing themselves to be taken by Bald Guy.
8. Bald Guy will summon/ressurect Kaguya to aid him in battle lol.
Ok, Guys That all possible ways I can see Naruto and Sasuke temporarily loose. What do you think about it ?
Could you find more ways ?
EDIT: There is last possibility: Asspull (Kishi like to use them so expect one if logic doesn't make sense)
