[Discussion] There is one thing I do not get about Madara.

If one needs amaterasu and tsukuyomi to be able to have susanoo, why hasn't Madara used either? I mean, if he wanted to finish them off before like he was going to with the perfect susanoo, why did he not just start using amaterasu? The mizukage, tsuchikage, and hokage would've easily been taken down in no time.

He's done it on Bee during their fight.

And to the question, - I'm not sure, maybe he just likes toying with them? I mean, they're getting beat badly and he's barely breaking a sweat, so I mean theres no need to rush things xd

That would just make a horrible chapter. Like that's like Naruto getting a gun and shooting every bad guy down and killing them. Where's the fun in that? Kishi would get alot of flames if he had Madara ameterasu their asses and finish them off like that.( get it flames ? ;D I'm unbelievably corny ._.)

why would he?

amaterasu is a KO combo so he didn`t use it becuase he wanted to have some fun with the kages

well its like he said during the fight, (why would a grown up fight so hard against a child) he doesnt consider them equals, the only one he think can even come close is the 1st hokage, so until they step their game up, theres no need to break a sweat...

Either he just doesn't want to use it, or he doesn't have it. It's also possible for Madara to have his own set of unique MS abilities which he hasn't shown yet either. Like Obito's has Kamui. Shisui's has Koto Amatsukami.

I think to awaken Susanoo, you have to awaken your two unique MS abilities. In which Itachi's where Tsukyomi and Amaterasu.

But it's still entirely possible that he just didn't want to use it just like he hasn't shown any other MS ability.

You dont need Amaterasu and Tsukiyumi to get Susanoo. Itachi said he awakened Susanoo after he got the 2.

You get Susanoo when you have 2 MS and have the techs that come w/ it. Also, you need some sort of special trait(extremely skilled/talented, even among the clan) because not every uchiha can awaken Susanoo

Its story telling reasons,

he wants those techs for guys like itachi and sasuke to use.


Madara not really intrested in those techs.


The techs he uses are far above to the next level.


Look at this way, why would madara repeat the same low level techs he tried in his ems days against hasihrama when he failed.

From what i gather, Madara is only intrested in hasihrama dna, rinnegan techs and only sharingan tech he uses is sassano, being the strongest one the sharaingan offers.

One episode White Zetzu made a comment that sasuke isn't as advanced with his tsukuyomi as itachi was because his didn't alter time. I believe he used it against Orochimaru (during the ceremony) and he used it against itachi.
