There is no such thing as equality.

I keep seeing people say Naruto and Sasuke are equals, NO! They are not equal. If Naruto and Sasuke were to fight, one of them would lose and one would win. Saying both characters are equal is just a way of saying they don't want their character to lose.

Naruto said if Sasuke was to attack the village, he would stop him, and if they fight they'll die together. Wrong. Why? Naruto would have followed right into Hashirama's path. He would chose the village over his friend.

Back to equality and why it doesn't exist. I personally believe no one is better than another person.(Maybe I'm contradicting myself, but life is a big contradiction) I have to accept reality, there are people stronger, faster, and smarter than me.

For every technique Naruto has, Sasuke has one to counter it. And Vise Versa. Also, both their nature elements compliment one another making them devastating together and detrimental when pitted against each other.

This does not mean they are equal in every way, It just means that should and when they fight, the match is not going to be one sided meaning either one can win.

I disagree as Naruto has a ton of moves to counter what you just mentioned. But for the sake of the OP I will not go into them as he explicitly stated this is not a Naruto VS Sasuke thread.

Equal in the sense that, if they fought 100 times, naruto wins 50 and sasuke wins 50. The probability of each winning is 0.5 but obviously if they fought once, there would have to be a winner so yes I agree
