You are right, I'm not an itachi fanboy, but it seems ridiculous to me that itachi will fight nagato and here's how the fight goes:
Nagato uses full power from start as usual, tries to push itachi
Itachi activates susanoo for defence
Nagato absorbs susanoo and itachi's screwed
Then nagato pulls in itachi and stabs him since he has no defence any more :sy::sy::sy::sy::sy::sy::sy:
Even ems madara will be defeated that easy, dats ridiculous :flaw::flaw:
Nagato could beat them but its bcos he's OP and has more chakra not bcos he can absorb susanoo:sy:
Neji's rotation is pure chakra like rasengan, blue in colour like rasengan but susanoo is just not pure chakra, its also spiritual energy.
I'm sure kisame's samehada can absorb susanoo too since its just chakra :sy::sy:

Earth which is being manipulated by chakra can be absorbed- the chakra within it. Earth which spawned from the user's chakra will be gone entirely when absorbed.

Susanoo, there is no two ways about it. It is a chakra construct and will be absorbed if it clashes with the Preta Path.

this, pretty much. There are some ninjutsu though, like ST/BT/CT that preta can't absorb. Or the meteors, if Madara actually pulled them from space, which I believe he did. If he created them from chakra though, they would get absorbed.

Susanoo is materialised chakra. Spiritual defence isn't a possible argument because the spiritual element is half of what makes chakra.

I agree. The meteors being pulled or summoned can't be absorbed. You pointed something out with ST/BT and CT. It isn't possible to absorb practically:
- CT, Preta has to go towards the black ball; he'd probably be crushed in the process of trying.
- ST and BT, he's have to be able to anticipate them prior to absorb. However these jutsu have shown that they cannot be predicted/anticipated.
-- This makes you wonder: what if a Rinnegan user had the Preta Path barrier up constantly and if a ST or BT landed on them. Would it be absorbed?

I'll ask again because i don't think people saw it. Do you think that Preta path can absorb Shinra Tensei. And for kicks, i'll throw in, do you think Preta path could absorb Kamui, or Flying Thunder God, or Edo Tensei for that matter?

All ninjutsu is a vague term that over hypes a technique, such as wen Itachi claimed his Tsukuyomi was unbreakable, or that Gaara's shield of sand was the unbreakable defense. It's just a claim, not set in stone.

- if a ftg Kunai is thrown at preta barrier ftg will not execute after breaching it.
- edo tensei can be absorbed by preta touch or the preta barrier, yes.


shinra tensei cant be absorbed because it isn't made of chakra
it is nagatos chakra technique changing the the relative field of gravity from within himself as the focal point...

...therefore shinra tensei can't be executed if preta is hugging him

there is no ninjutsu that can not be affected by preta by either the normal frontal ''catch'', physical touch or the full blown barrier.

Susanoo is just chakra that has a physical shape and form,
preta would definitely be able to absorb it,
there is also the case where madara used preta through his susanoo to absorb jinton but it ended up absorbing both the susanoo and the jinton

preta path absorbs rasengan (not a mouth jutsu) and narutoʻs chakra arm.
It has absorbed beeʻs V2 cloak, has absorbed SM right out of naruto, and has absorbed things like fuuton rasenshuriken.

All the evidence suggests it absorbs susanoo.
