there is no after life in naruto ?!

if you actually think about it there doesn't seem to be and actual after life in the naruto universe even tho its mentioned little hints iv picked up on are such as

deidora still thought he had killed sasuke when he was brought back
Madara thought Nagato had brought him back
The edo Kage didn't know what was going on
Gaaras father still thought the shukaku was still inside of Gaara
when the 1st and 2nd hokage had been brought back it took them a couple of moments to figure what what was happening

if there was and actual after life they would have had and idea of current events but it seems that they only remember right from there death to the moment they are revived.

I guess its a silly trivial thing but i just found it a bit funny and worthy of making a thread

U're right but when kakashi died he was with his father in afterlife so god knows..

When they are revived, it feels almost instantaneous to them. It doesn't feel like any time has passed at all:

I do think there is an afterlife though, didn't Sakumo Hatake say he was finally able to move on after he and Kakashi had that chat?

Why do you think that they keep track of events in afterlife? If they go to some place (like heaven or hell, or whatever) of course they wouldn't know what happened after their deaths.
I think it would be strange if they came back knowing everything. That would mean their souls were still wandering around after their deaths.

i don't think that there is a afterlife in naruto. the only thing that was holding sakumo was kakashi's regrets with his father. then he was able to rest in a sense

yeah that's the only thing that gets me but i think it was like a limbo thing and sakumo had just been waiting there in limbo waiting to pass on

when i say after life i think of like a dragon ball z thing where there at peace and they keen keep and eye on there loved ones watching and guiding them from above.

Well, I think is differently in Naruto. Kushina for example said she was going to Minato when she disappeared. I think, the souls of the dead go to some kind of heaven, unless there's something that holds them back, like kakashi's father Sakumo.

I think they can steal kind of protect the living ones, but not keeping track of what exactly happens.
