Yes, the anime that was created solely for the purpose of following the original story about Trainer Red has a hidden agenda behind it.


Think about it, Pokemon is in it's 6th generation. The Kalos region, which is the 6th region features brand new pokemon and even some new types.

So why would Nintendo authorize an anime about a story that dates back almost 15 years?


I believe Nintendo has a motive behind this and I believe that motive to be this:

A game with 6th gen 3D graphics.

Yes, I believe this 6th gen engine game will be remake of the original games, Red, Blue and Green.

They seem to be far to vested in all this X & Y stuff. I wouldn't be against another 1st generation remake, but it would need to be a complete masterpiece featuring a plethora of all new mechanics. Perhaps on the scale of Coliseum or XD. I would also like to see 3rd gen get it's remake considering it would be kind of messed of for 1st gen to get two re-installations in the same decade.
