There are horses in the movie. Besides what would you do with a horse if everyine can jump from tree to tree.
Also horses are loud and, would leave a mess wherever they walk making it easier to track you.

u could use the horse as a diversion like if there is a bunch of ninja send the horse in and then when they are all focused on the horse attack from the rear
