This panel clearly shows Obito's position, He doesn't have to depend on some mythical transmigration to be relevent, He is the SAGE, representing the balance, and possessing both "The will of fire" and the "Hatred".

unlike Madara who has no relevance to the main characters, Obito is the one who has the most influence in this manga and the lives of both main character (Naruto and Sasuke) via "Nine tails attack" and "Uchiha Massacre"

Obito is the sole responsible for both these events and the one who declared War. He has shaped the Narutoverse. and even u as a hater should be able to see that.

That would give Madara planning on Aizen levels. I dont doubt he could've started the war but for that team with that particular Uchiha to be in that spot. No way he couldve planned that. With all the other Uchiha there were.

The plan would also have to involve him making Kakashi a jonin for that to work. If not Minato wouldve stayed with them. No way Madara planned all of that.
