[Theory] Yata Mirror will be destroyed *scans inside*

gaaras ultimate defense? pierced.
nejis kind-of ultimate 360 perception + chakra hoses? weakness found and exploited (not ultimate but regardless.)
hidans immortality? mortalized.
the demon death seal, a.k.a insta perma death? well nope it's been broken too.
the third raikages invulnerable armor? broken by his own spear.

The last one might even be spelling out how yata mirror would be destroyed (by totsuka) but that's outside of the scope of this theory.

THE IMPORTANT PART

is that kishi loves introducing these ultimate defensive ability and then having them be trumped by something else, from a logical weakness like gaaras earth < lightning, to plain old deus ex machinima as seen with the dds.

yata mirror was never really shown doing anything cool, so I think it will come back, probably to sasuke. then it will be destroyed somehow after it tanks a few tbb (or some equivalently powerful move) to demonstrate it's power. possibly by yata sword, but IDK.

I don't think totsuka is the ultimate attack either. It says it seals anything it pierces, but what if something is too dense for it to pierce? I would love to see totsuka go up against yata and see which comes out on top

we know yata changes to best neutralize the attack, so it would be interesting to consider the effects of hitting it with several different elemental attacks at once. yata might end up enhancing the effects of one attack by neutralizing the other. definitely a plausible tactic if shikamaru is involved in the fight against yata mirror's user.

however I don't know if it would work.

Umm....nice try...but you see....Yata mirror and Totsuka blade are mystical weapons, they cannot be destroyed....they have no pre-determined form and only appear when itachi brings forth his susanoo. sasuke has no chance of getting those weaons...they belong to Itachi and has vanished with his death.
