When edo-Madara is fighting the kages , I don't see hatred in him.
When edo-Madara is fighting the shinobi alliance , he smiles when he sees how strong they are , I feel that he is happy to see how strong everybody is.He says "nice combo" , " that's a strong clan"...
Obito saw that Madara didn't want to "bijuudama" the place , is that really cause Obito would die if he does?He may want to let the maximum of shinobis alive.
After the 2 last mangas , Madara make me feel like he is a really good guy , very smart , deeply looking for peace , and he lost 3 brothers in his childhood.What can turn that guy into a bad guy?
I feel that they became really good friends almost instantly , there's a feeling between them , something hard to break even if his father killed half of your clan.They have the same goal deep in their mind , and they will find the answer together.
In the last chapter 622 , I think they created the concept of Konoha , an alliance between clans of the same region , being on the same side.
A few years later , they created Konoha , and wars between clans stopped , everyone in Konoha became a comrades.Victory , but...

They need world unification to stop that cycle.There they are going to disagree.
