Could it be possible that the 10 tails is the embodiment of the dark, spiteful will of humanity? I think that would be good for plot, because Naruto really would have to overcome the world's hatred.

The juubi is the newest member of team 7. Lol. Seriously though maybe he is..he is a god after all and anything is possible

Nah. In ledgend the Datara is thought to be a large human-like beast with one leg and one eye. It is also rumored to be an expert blacksmith, or perhaps the ghost of one; alternately Ame-no-mahitotsu-no-kami hails from the Plain of High Heaven which refers to the vast realm in the high heaven that is in contrast to "nether world" which is the world of the dead. I have theorized that the Juubi's origins lies within kamui's dimension, however that is just theory.

In its second form the Juubi is an eldritch abomination with some human traits, I don't think the Juubi represents the spiteful will of humanity, I consider it a neutral entity with no malice, but it's being used by humans for spiteful purposes.

It'll probably look even more human-like with the final transformation.
