Due to The New Spoilers we know Limbo is another Madara, Limbo also doesn't Look like a Rinnegan Technique

Limbo also doesn't appear to be like any other Rinnegan technique. In fact Limbo looks more like a Mangekyou technique with are activated by the Eyes and use Spiritually Energy (yin Chakra) while rinnegan uses both eyes and the body (yin and Yang Chakra) (maybe limbo is Izuna's Or Madara's Mangekyou technique).

Limbo is a Technique used by Indra and Ashura this may sound crazy but it behaves similarity to the being posscessed by a Chakra Spirit which is what limbo sort of is.

I mean when he fought Hashirama he didn't use Linbo.But it could be that he unlocked it after that fight.
But good theory nonetheless.
