For all we know, the only source of tobirama having s/t technique is minato.Minato personally did not see tobirama performing the technique.Minato might have learnt from jiraya who might have learnt from hiruzen who was tobi's student.Hiruzen would have seen tobi performing the ftg slash. We know how legends grow from a seed to tree and I think the same thing might have happened when the knowledge about jutsu was passed down from hiruzen to minato.Minato after developing s/t technique would have named his technique after tobi's except for slash because he doesnt use the sword.Ftg slash might be just a turbo boost technique with high acceleration.
This is my first theory. So if I am wrong correct me rather than pouncing on me.

Minato is always correct so it makes you wrong U_U

I imagine with the fact he was talking to himself and saying how Tobi's S/T is better then his and the 2nd's he knew what it was >.>
Why would he lie to himself

Minato personally did not see the technique and might have assumed the high speed technique of tobi's to be s/t technique

I completely disagree!

Tobirama used it in the manga! maybe not on Minato's level, but its still powerful

He had it. No reason why not. And that slash looked pretty much like it.

.

If you are mentioning about the recent manga's ftg slash, it was not confirmed to be s/t technique. It could have been some high speed slash technique

Well, you shouldn't just say he doesn't have a S/T ninjutsu. Personally, I do believe that FTG-slash was not a S/T ninjutsu, and whatever S/T ninjutsu he had, was not on the same level as FTG.
