Hello guys, I would like to share with you my theory about the Moon. Here I go:

The Moon always existed in Naruto World
Proof number 1: According to Hagoromo, Kagyua arrived to Naruto world from far away land:
and according to Fairytale Kagyua came from the Moon in tale "The Tale of the Bambo Cutter"
Proof number 2: The Moon is required for Infinite Tsukuyiomi to be casted and Kagyua used IT according to Hagoromo :
Proof number 3: The Moon was shown in Sage's flashback about his sons in two panels behind Indra and Ashura so it had to exist already :
All these three proofs hint and back up existence of the Moon from the begining. It also seems to be logical for the moon to be present in Naruto world since the begining otherwise people would be scared of the Moon and Kishi would point this out at one time.
Actually proof number three can be tricky as the Moon should be destroyed by Juubi then if it was after Hagoromo and his brother vs Juubi duel.
Shinjuu/Juubi as creator:

Destruction of the Moon
Well this will be hard to prove or show hints of it, also most of the people will scream Narutoard as Moon busting is Dragon ball's field which Narutoverse should never access lol. However Considering that The Shinjuu is known as creator and accepting possibility of Moon existence before it would hint Shinjuu created the Moon as well. It is common sense that Creator can destoy his creations at any time... so that where I am leading with it.
The Shinjuu/Juubi was so much mad at Kagyua for stealing forbidden fruit and eating it that in fight against Hagoromo and his brother The Shinjuu/Juubi could bust the Moon with Incredible powerfull TBB. It isn't impossible as it would seem. Just take a look at Juubi's TBB destructive feats.
The reason The Shinjuu/Juubi attacked The Moon was that it was Kagyua's homeland or the Moon keep nature forces in the world in balance Shinjuu busting Moon cause Nature forces to loose balance and make human's life not safe anymore. In short it would be divine punishment to Humankind for breaking rule.

one again its another close up and the ct are about 2 time the size of the god tree
here is a far shot showing that the the ct are about twice the size of the god tree
naruto could only destroy one ct with his rs tbb if the juubi had shot a tbb most of the ct would be gone
also the first tbb was not even the stronget one it was just a regular tbb that wasnt charged up
this is the charged tbb which would be multiple times bigger

Recreation of the moon
This point is tricky because all depends if you believe that Moon existed and was once destroyed by The Shinjuu/Juubi so if you don't believe then don't bother reading as you will treat it as Creation of the Moon which was not present in past.
Proof number 1: The stone tablet written by Hagoromo himself included information how one can awake Third eye aka Juubi's eye on forehead after having Double Rinnegan:

Summary :
- The Moon existed before Kagyua and Shinjuu most likely created it
- Kagyua casted IT using Original Moon...
- The Shinjuu/Juubi destroyed the Moon in fight against Hagoromo and his brother or after Kagyua stole forbidden fruit
- Original Shinjuu/Juubi is moon buster
- Hagoromo re-created the Moon due to being perfect way to seal Juubi's empty husk as well as way to recreate his Mother's homeland(sentiment stuff) or to restore balance of nature forces so people will be safe once again.
- Hagoromo had Third eye aka Nine tomoes Rinnegan eye when he was Ten tails host, then lost it or sealed it so that how Sasuke gained Juubi's eye same as Naruto got Senjtusu of six paths. Both Naruto and Sasuke could only get something which Sage already had.
