[Theory] The Tomoes Of The Juubi's Eye

What do you think about Madara and Obito controlling the Juubi is 2x 3tomoe=6Tomoe in his eye.
Not saying I believe this, but it is another possiblity. What do you think of it?

Interesting theories! I think I'll go with number 3 because it seems plausible.

I do have one thing on my mind: SO6P's sons being created with COAT; what intrigues me is the fact that we have an older and a younger brother. Did the Sage created one and after some time he said to himself that 2 is a nice number? I personally don't think so...I think he had a wife and they got it on xd

despite my opinion, your theory might be true viewed from a certain point: the Sage created his first son, saw his lust for power and decided to create another one with the hope that he'll try and bring peace through love.

I'm not Kishi so who knows...maybe you're right.

I strongly agree with the first one, and agree to a great extent with the second point as well. But I would present the third from a different angle: I think the Sake possibly had Sharingan or Sharingan-esque eyes as well. Think about it, Madara is as close to the sage as anyone can get and he holds the power to control the Bijuus and use the Sage's eyes as well.

Perhaps, as the lines were one, the sage originally had 9 Tomoe Sharingan with which he was able to connect and subjugate the Jubi and become its Jinchuriki. And just like Madara, he awoke the Rinnegan when he tore the Juubi from his body and created the moon and sealed it. It seems to be as if he used up its chakra to accomplish so, as the manga implies that when he was a Jinchuriki he was akin to a god, not without it.

In fact, the manga doesn't even talk about Izanagi - the technique of the Rinnegan to 'create' things - other than for the creation of the nine tailed beasts. It's quite plausible, he awoke his Rinnegan after the fused with the tailed beasts. The view of his eyes could just be a corruption of the story, as he passed on his mental energy - the actual energy of the self - to the older son and body to the younger one, and yet the older Son didn't seem to have a Rinnegan, but a strange spiral like formation.

Just my theory of course.

Nice theory although 1 & 2 go without saying and although #4 is cool to think about I feel it is highly improbably because that would mean that the SO6P crossed the line from being a skilled ninja into being a god that could create human beings as he see's fit. And with that it in a sense marginalizes his actions and brings the question why someone with his kind of power, creating anything and everything he could ever want, would bother creating an elder or younger son or why not just make himself immortal etc...SO6P is strong much like the 1st, but there is a difference between creating things with jutsu out of chakra and creating real life.

Holy shit, I was just thinking to myself about how its most likely 1 or 3:
-Its not fully transformed yet so its got 6 and not 9
-Its not gonna get back to 9 in its final form because its 3-Tomoes worth of its power were transferred to the Uchiha

I think it could be a combination of 1 and 3
What I mean by this is that for the Juubi to reach its final stage, it needs a Sharingan sacrifice in order to regain its original 9 Tomoe, thus leading to either Obito to sacrifice Madara or Madara to sacrifice Obito. That or they keep some spare Sharingan in their pockets
Just had another thought-Maybe Obito wants to sacrifice Kakashi? Although probably not because Obito wants to unlock the true power of his eyes by reuniting them both inside of his ****ed up head.
In both cases though, the Juubi still wouldn't be at full power because it only has a portion of 8 and 9 tails chakra.
