I think same as you, but difference is that I thought(yeah past time because you convinced me with your theory) that Sage of six paths possesed Byakugan(same as Hyuuga today) and was master of Sealing jutsu equals that SOSP was Half Uzumaki half Hyuuga.

After reading your theory I even came with idea that: (If SOSP had elder son's eyes(swirly ones as you presented before becoming Sage of six paths) then maybe these swirly patterned eyes can beevolution of Byakugan like Advanced Byakugan(like Sharingan turns into MS)

Byakugan->Elder son eyes(Sage of six paths's eyes before influence of Juubi)

Two more facts to prove your theory I would add:

#1th Sage of six paths could or couldn't posses Rinnengan before becoming Juubi jinchurki, let's say he didn't have it before. As we all know that Jinchurki got their features changed including eyes in tailed beast modes which they got from tailed beasts they have sealed into them.

Sage of six paths could has: nine tomoe eye(juubi eye) as Juubi jinchurki
Naruto has slits pupils in his eyes as Kurama Jinchurki
Yugito has Nibi eyes(yellow one) as Nibi Jinchurki
Gaara had Shukaku eyes when he was Shukaku jinchurki


#2th Why Sage of six paths could be Uzumaki explained very well Sir Derp Obito (bow down) but why Sage of six paths shouldn't be only full Uzumaki ?,

Answer: It was said that SOSP discovered chakra as first human. That why I think only with special eyes SOSP could discover chakra.

Which of three great occular powers would be best ?

Answer: Obviously byakugan which give it user great insight, allow user to see Tenketsu and maybe SOSP as master of original form of Byakugan(elder son's eyes) could even notices Spiritual and physical energy which mixing led him to discover chakra.

Off topic: Why did you think Kishi want Hinata(HYUUGA) and Naruto(UZUMAKI) to be togehter suggested by some clues in manga ?

Answer: Because Kishi is genius and he has done it on purpouse as everything he does but sometimes it is really hard to notice this.

Well.... Sir Derp Obito's Theory reduces my work to half.... It makes things easier for me as I have to prove only the Hyuga part.... His SO6P theory is surely the best one I have read too.... XD XD
