No. Itachi was only able to break free of edo tensei control only because Shisui's eye was used on him with the genjutsu installed "protect Konoha". Meaning that it had overwritten the edo tensei and was replaced with that genjutsu. There is no way for him to break free unless he is given enough time of his own free will to release the seal which we have only seen madara do. So yeah.

I know that but Orochimaru has shown to have less control over his more powerful Edos like Hashirama.So Itachi would literally put him in a genjutsu and release Edo Tensei just like he did with Kabuto.

That was back in the first part of the show where he had just barely mastered it. Along with the senju dna he now has thanks to being in a zetsu clone body, he should now be able to control them better.

Honestly, as much as I love Itachi, I will be really upset if he is revived again. His death in front of sasuke has been powerful twice and a revival will just ruin this.

IIRC both Madara and Hashirama did not have their minds wiped and their personalities destroyed which is what the talisman does.The talismans are there to assume full control of a Edo when they don't follow commands,so I don't think Sage conuld resist having his personality be destroyed.
