[Theory] The reincarnation cycle

Hi, I'm new here and thought I might help to clear up the issues fans are having with the recent chapter with this theory.

People seem to think Sasuke will automatically be Indra's reincarnation, but Hagoromo's statement was left vague and on a cliffhanger. If I remember right, he stated these chakras are dispersed through the ages and transmigrated to others. This leads me to believe that they may break up and take up residence in more than one person or possibly generational rather than transmigrating to one person as many seem to be arguing about.

For example, perhaps Ashura's chakra was broken into both Hashirama and Naruto and the same goes for Indra with Madara and Sasuke. The reasoning behind this being how the two rivalries are so similar and their potential abilities and personalities.

Another example could be pieces of Hagoromo's brother's chakra being transmigrated into Itachi and possibly Nagato.

Hashirama was the only one of the Senju clan to possess the mokuton and its ultimate form is a multi-appendaged buddha statue, referencing buddhism and hinduism just like with Ashura and Indra. The same can be said for Madara whose Susano'o is almost identical to Indra's and possesses a pony tail and multiple appendages as well.

Not only Naruto, even Obito and Jiraiya also possessed Ashura's chakra.

That isn't reincarnation.

There can be only one incarnation at a time, two at a time would be contradictive of reincarnation as reincarnation is rebirth of one person over and over again.

Ashura was only one person and had only one soul so he can't have multiple incarnations at the same time.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. In this manga, Kishimoto is his own god and possesses his own concept of reincarnation. And you believe the same soul cannot be pieced out? You are aware of cloning aren't you? Also a theme of this manga; along with breaking the yin and yang chakras of Kurama in half and transforming the Juubi into nine other bijuus? You are aware of multiple personalities correct? Of light and dark side themes used in this manga and other works of fiction?

Kishi has two direct options the way I see it:

1. Kishi can ignore the similarities that Hashi/Madara have with Naruto/Sasuke, and just never acknowledge the original two as reincarnations of Ashura and Indra.

2. Kishi can explain that certain Senju and Uchiha (Hashi and Madara) received fragments of Ashura/Indra chakra through some sort of reincarnation/lineage process, but Naruto and Sasuke received nearly the entire spirit making them directly reincarnated.

#2 would build upon themes Kishi has spent years building, moreso than #1, so I'm going to bet we see some sort of explanation of Hashirama and Madara in this generation leaping Young vs Elder Son feud.

Your idea probably isn't too far off of what we're going to see in the next few chapters
