Maybe the third technique has something to do with being able to extract information from someones. Say ie. history or another stored memory they had in the depths of their brain. Which would kinda explain oro's obsession with wanting an uchiha body.
If what I say were true (which I'm not in anyway saying I am) I could see why he would need oro. I just haven't worked out how sasuke is so sure he is alive. :shrug:

Im assuming you think that there is a third technique because the chapter is called "third power", thats a mistranslation and is actually "third force" referring to the one who knows everything. And Sasuke knows Orochimaru is still out there because the curse mark always holds a piece of Orochimaru (like in the Sasuke vs Itachi fight), and even though Orochimaru was killed/sealed, Anko still has that piece of him in her curse mark (thats why he looked at it).

Like you said yourself ^ Itachi showed his story from his perspective - we haven't heard a thing from Hiruzen! The uchichas wanted to overthrow the hokage (Hiruzen) and take over the village - which means there most be a story untold!

^ What is the point of hearing Hiruzen's version of the massacare? From what I understood Sasuke wanted to know the "truth" from Itachi to confirm Tobi's perspective on the massacare. When it boils down to it, no matter what, it is clear Itachi was indeed used by Konoha, but he wants Sasuke to clear the Uchiha's name at least for their parent's sake. It seems Sasuke has finally seen some light so his path of vengence is over I feel. So now what? :shrug:

Correct me if Im wrong, but Tobi never told Sasuke that he isn't Madara. So he would most likely think that madara is Tobi. Unless he understood what Suigetsu meant.

^ Sasuke told Itachi (back when Sasuke first killed Itachi) that Madara was next on his "to kill list." Remember? Yes Tobi did tell Sasuke he was Madara. Perhaps Sasuke figures killing Madara will also kill Tobi? You know I am not sure I was a little confused so I think we are on the same boat as far as the confusion goes.

Sasuke says "He's not going to vanish like that" and we get a close-up of the curse seal mark on Anko's neck. The same mark that was on Sasuke's own neck until Itachi sealed that part of Orochimaru within him. My opinion, Sasuke's going back to Oro's old hideoout where the body transfers took place.

^And what is Sasuke planning on doing with Anko? Perform a body transfer? If that's the case he would bring Oro back by giving him Anko's body? Kind of how Oro originally wanted to use Sasuke's body? If Sasuke were to do that to Anko then he would be using her. Plus, in a way he would be turning into another Oro.

It could possibly be hiruzen he is talking about. I'm thinking he might have found a way to revive or reverse the summoner of the reaper but he still can't revive the people or souls the reaper devoured. Remember the reaper only devoured the souls of the enemies but its hand only penetrated the soul of the summomer. So maybe through research on how to regain his arms he learned how to revive the summomer.

Could the one who know everything perhaps be...... Hiruzen Sarutobi?

I don't got any relieable facts, so it's a very unreliable theory - but i thought i would share it with you guys!

What does sasuke want to know? EVERYTHING behind the Uchicha massacre.... we have heard about the uchicha massacre from many different people; Itachi, Danzo and Tobi (possible more, can't remember).... But we haven't heard it from Hiruzen.

I mean.... we actually don't know much about hiruzen - kishi killed him off with an open-ending, therefore not really explaining his background in his prime or his fully explained relationship with Orochimaru OR his point of view on the uchicha massacre....

The importance of the scroll isen't Orochimaru, Sasuke just need Orochimaru to do something for him, something that Orochimaru has been involved in - Orochimaru was indeed involved with Hiruzen - he knew alot about Hiruzen, so perhaps the scroll is related to him!

(note: Hiruzen knew alot about the uchicha massacre which could give Sasuke some anwsers + i believe he knew quite alot about Hashirma and Madara + Hiruzen knows what a "clan, village and shinobi is" - Sasuke apparently doesn't)


Just a thought - I KNOW HIS FREAKING SOUL IS SEALED - but, but when talking about Orochimaru - ANYTHING is possible!

Sarutobi as the one who knows everything, I do not think so, if anything Orochimaru was closer to deciphering the secrets of the ninja world then Sarutobi was. Orochimaru has some part to play in helping Sasuke meet the one that knows everything, but I cannot tell who yet; but since the story seems to be parallel with all the events that has happened in the story’s past-I don’t think it would be a stretch for me to assume that this one is somebody big.
