Hello guys, I came up with theory how the new character revealed from "The Last" movie could be Hamura and most likely is. Please bare with me as here I go:
^^ Recently the new character for "The Last" Naruto movie was revealed. We know that this movie is going to be extension of original manga so it is canon. The plot is about kidnapping Hanabi while the moon fall down.
^^ Both Hagoromo and Hamura had horns protruding from their's top sides of forehead.
Now the last villain has no horns, yeah ? so it doesn exclude him from possibility of being Hamura ?
Most likely no, because splitting Kaguya powers along both sons: Hagoromo got Uchiha and Senjuu powers(Rinnegan and Special body enhanced with Rikudou Senjutsu at top of it) while Hamura got Byakugan(trait of Hyuuga clan) and what was left ? Of course Bone manipulation, right ?
Yeah. Now let's see what member of Kaguya clan Kimimaro Kaguya could do:
^^ Exactly Kimimaro could make bones grow outside of his body protruding at outside or sink it into his body hidding it at will whenever he wanted to.
There is also a lot of similliarites between Hamura and Kimimaro, so it could be good hint.
The length of hair is obviously no issue in shinobi world as they can change their hair style whenever they want to.
Another point is that the movie may be Hyuuga development which Kishi promised and expressed will to write it in the end of manga, but it seems he could not so he came up with idea of movie killing two birds with one stone: (Hyuuga clan development and Naruhina).
Just if that question be asked, Hagoromo had bones protruding from his body as passive ability and it was growing without his part while Hamura like Kaguya would manipulate it whenever she wanted to.
He could be also relative of Kaguya from "far away land" or lover/husband but it would be too farfetched as Kaguya was first shown manipulating chakra and having Byakugan and logical only Hamura was next in line and about who we know little to nothing.
CONCLUSION : The new character is Hamura Ootsutsuki who somehow survived /got out of some kind of prison/trap and now hidding his bones to stay hidden and unrecognized as outstanding in look in compare to rest he decided to hide them and mimicking Obito he also cut his hair to be not compared to Hamura.
