I came up with this theory while i was talking with a friend about what itachi's gift is to Naruto will be, and whatever this gift is we all know will altar the shape of the battle between sasuke and naruto. After reading please comment on what you think of it and post your own theories.
The gift that itachi is giving naruto first off has to be something that naruto can use inorder to protect himself from sasuke but it cant be only meant for sasuke but also anyone he fights. Secondly, it cant be something that can deal with all of sasuke's moves cause then the fight is pointless cause naruto will win easily. So my theory is that the gift is some type of sealing technique which can take care of amaterasu and or a jutsu which protects the user from genjutsu.
So when Naruto and sasuke face off there will be a "warm-up" chapter where they will exchange a few blows and talk and have flashbacks (this is naruto we just have to accept there will always be some type of warm-up period before any epic fight). After the warm-up period sasuke will go all out but naruto wont and will be on defense (most likely starting off in regular/ sage mode and regularly going in to fox mode in order to get out of tight situations), because his comrades will be in the area fighting their own battle and Naruto doesnt want to risk harming any of them while in fox mode, so Sasuke will be winning at first and criticizing naruto's new found power, and naruto will just be taking it all in.
Then sasuke will notice that naruto is stalling and not giving his all so he will say, didnt you say you came here cause you want to save me naruto well you wont even be able to save yourself if you continue fighting like this, well i came here for a challenge so i can test out these new eyes of mine and i will have my challenge, are your comrades getting in the way well allow me to take care of our little problem. Then Sasuke will somehow decimate the battle field, and naruto will get serious and stop sasuke before he kills everyone, then it will be EMS VS. Fox Chakara Mode Naruto and naruto will be winning, but sasuke will still be keeping his composure and talking smack.
Sasuke will then begin using amaterasu and tsukuyomi combo on naruto but because of itachi's gift it wont work so in desperation sasuke will turn on sasuno. The gift cant be used to stop sasunoo cause naruto cant have it that easy, and he has to practice his tailed beast bomb on something lol, so sasuke will have naruto on the ropes till the point where either he has to reason with the fox inorder to do the bomb together cause he still hasnt mastered it by himself or he will just somehow get the percentage of good and bad chakara and make the perfect bomb, and when naruto's tailed beast bomb destroys sasuke's sasunoo, sasuke will know that naruto is stronger then him. The scene will switch to Madara and he will say i have to step in.
Then it will switch back to sasuke and Naruto, and sasuke will say how were you able to stop my jutsu's, then naruto will tell him about how itachi gave him the gift before he died and what not and sasuke will yell out you are lying and that his brother would never betray him like that, and naruto will say no im telling the truth and begin telling sasuke about when itachi gave him the gift then there will be a flashback of naruto and itachi's convo.
Sasuke will then loose it and try to attack and naruto will stop it before he even starts it and naruto will say its time to end this rivalry ehh sasuke, then right before he takes sasuke out madara will appear and do some cheating ish and probably use the zetsu's to absorb and copy naruto's 9 tails chakara then they will capture the 9 tails (supposedly). Then Madara, Zetsu, and Sasuke will be standing over Naruto's limp body on the floor then the chapter will end with Madara smiling saying, " Its time to Awaken" while looking up at the moon. End of chapter next issue The juubi awakens.
