Theory - Senju Clan at one point, may be gunning for World Domination

Lets begin with the Rikudou Sennin (RS), who famously dispersed the 9 tailed beasts to different parts of the world for reasons we dont know. RS could be hoping someone is worthy enough to reunite the 9 beasts one day. But very obvious RS didnt give it all to his younger son, even though the younger son was the successor.

Now comes Senju Clan and its leader, Senju Hashirama. How did he get those few Tailed Beasts in his possession? He must have fought some wars against other Clans' Jinchuriki to obtain them right. Wont his actions be interpret as an act of terrorism by other clans? His clan's actions and particularly his, being one of the famous and strongest at the time, could trigger a chain of hate in the shinobi world.

Not all clans respected the Senju. That is why smaller clans always hire Uchiha Clan to fights against them. And as for Senju clan, they also gladly accept monetary payments to fight other clans. In this respect, Senju Clan leader Hashirama was not really a peace lover to begin with. Maybe he felt his clan is being threatened slowly but surely and finally made the offer to offload some of his Tailed Beasts to other Clans/Hidden Village but conveniently kept the strongest Tail Beast (Kurama) to himself, or rather, his Uzumaki wife.

Uchiha Madara, being his eternal rival, obviously wont buy into this perceived brainwashing by Hashirama and thus he had no choice but to seek peace in his own way - much like what Hashirama did.

Senju Clan did accept money from other clans to fight on their behalf. In the process, the Senjus are bound to kill some innocent people/shinobi and this bred hatred. I dont think jealously is the right word.

how the world worked back then, you need money to sustain your clan, and i'm sure they had reason to fight.. and they are against killing innocent buddy. And guess what else did the senju do? Give up tailed beasts, create a village.. and then after the creation of the village.. they faded away.

And Hashirama is the first known person to control the bijjuus (excluding the Sage himself), soo I have to disagree with your assumption on other clans who had tailed beasts.
